April 2010 - Semantic HTML / CSS3

4/22/10 6:00 PM
SRA International

Semantic HTML is becoming the de-facto standard for marking up code on the web, and more CSS3 features are being implemented every day. In this presentation, Bucky will explain semantic HTML, why it's better than unsemantic HTML, and some common patterns for writing semantic HTML. He'll then go into how to write clean CSS that pairs with your semantic HTML, some of the cool new features of CSS3, and how to implement those new features in a progressively enhanceable way that works across the most used browsers today. If you have an idea for a meeting, or would like to present - let us know! This meeting was originally scheduled for the 15th and has since been moved to the 22nd!
